Our prices are probably among the highest you will find in Eastern North Carolina area, most of the couples who "choose" to afford our services are not wealthy or setting records with their total wedding budgets. Rather, most of them are middle income people from middle iincome families who have determined that finding the best qualified DJ & MC for their once-in-a-lifetime celebration will garner them the SUCCESS they value most (i.e. their guests laughing, dancing and enjoying a smooth-flowing and memorable event), even if that means trimming back in other areas of their budget that won’t necessarily help them achieve their goals. But the best way to make sure you are getting the best value, is to compare more than just prices to make sure you are not mistakenly comparing Apples to Oranges.
So why are others cheaper? BTA Entertainment offers and does so much more than any other company. Hopefully, our pricing pages make it pretty clear that everything we do (and how we do it) for our couples is DRAMATICALLY different than the approach most DJs & MCs take when it comes to weddings. Our services completely rely on being able to build a personal relationship with our couples in order to help them create the most personalized celebration they (and/or their friends and families) have ever experienced. Your wedding celebration will not feel like a cookie cutter, run-of-the-mill, “same way it’s always been done” celebration. What we offer is FUN. Our services are very FUN, Different and Unique.
This is an investment in the Biggest day if your life. We typcially spend about 20 hours on your wedding. It's an event, not just a 5 hour day. we spend about 10 hours prior to the wedding, for your big day....Between meetings with you, phone calls, entertainment scheduling of your day, putting an online folder together for your day with your music, instructions and our final meeting. Than comes the Day of: Loading up, Travel time, arriving 2 hourse before we start, setting up, entertaining your wedding, loading equiptment back out, traveling, and unloading, a typical 5 hour event is a 10 hour day.

Events 2 hours or more away from New Bern will require a Hotel stay.

All prices are based on our total time spent on your event not just a few hours one day. These Prices include all meetings, prep time, all emails, all phone calls, all travel time, load in, production of your date and load out. Typically an average of 15 hours of time is spent on each client.
